July 08, 2025I received my custom leather travel bag sample and the quality is good. They designed everything according to the Tech Pack. However, the process they recommended and used for the logo on the bag is subpar. The logo is already peeling, is not of good quality and looks horrible, but the biggest reason for this rating is their subpar customer service. When the bag was completed and ready to ship, they blind sided me with a invoice for additional shipping cost. I explained that shipping cost is always included in the Pietra invoice, and Pies y Pieles never informed me that I would need to cover additional shipping separately until after the bag was completed and ready to ship. After some dialog back and forth, they still refuse to ship my paid product even after I explained that I had no knowledge of their extra shipping cost requirement. I had to file an action with Pietra to intervene and Pietra provided a discount shipping code so that I could get my product.
