The four C's of diamonds are easy to identify: Carat, Cut, Color, Clarity. The four C's of a brand? Maybe not so much. Here, we ask Pietra's jewelry designers to tell us what makes up their four C's: who is their dream celebrity? What is a common trait of all their amazing clients? What is the most prized piece from their collection, and what is unique about their craft.
Eriness Jewelry is happy jewelry. Known for our use of vibrant colors and sparkly diamonds, Eriness strives to uplift and inspire women to have fun with their accessories. Designer Erin Sachse always considers how the jewelry can be layered together or layered with your most precious family heirlooms. Here, she shares her 4C's.
CELEBRITY
I am not shy to admit that this freak out happens quite often, as I am so fortunate to have my jewelry worn by such inspirational women. That being said, when Michelle Obama wore our Diamond Drop Hoops, I was absolutely floored. She represents the quintessential empowered Eriness woman and I am honored that she chose our earrings to sport on her book tour.
CLIENT
We pride ourselves on having a wide range of clients, but the three that come to mind are the sophisticated woman, the playful lady, and the gentleman who knows how to treat his lady. The first is very tailored, refined, and elegant who typically gravitates toward our diamond and gold jewelry. The second type of client is more playful, outgoing, carefree and isn't afraid to have some fun with her jewelry. That client is the client who appreciates a balance between her family heirlooms and a dash of our signature Eriness rainbow pieces. Then we have our men, who know exactly where to shop to find their ladies something they are guaranteed to love.
COLLECTION
The Eriness Ladybug Collection holds a very special place in my heart. The idea for the collection came to me in a dream while my mom was sick, and the symbol has continued to serve as a prominent beacon of hope ever since. When I wear my Eriness Ladybugs, I can feel my mom's protection and strength and am reminded how important it is to always stay grateful for the people and love in our lives.
CRAFT
What sets me apart from other designers is that I never take my work (or my jewelry) too seriously. I'm never afraid to try new things, explore new trends, textures, and most often - color. The Eriness rainbow is something that is constantly expanding and we love that our clients aren't afraid to try new styles, as well. I always say that when it comes to jewelry, it's never too much. You can always stack up, or pair back, and when you've outworn a style, there will always be someone special in your life who is excited to continue that piece of jewelry's legacy.
